January Update
There has been a lot of activity in the last month, and a lot of planning to make this show one of the best. We aim to make this show different from others, with trees that haven’t been seen before, and trees that represent the magnificent bonsai that have originated in Wales.
We are progressing well towards making this show the Truly Memorable Bonsai Show that we plan. We hope you will find our regular updates informative and useful.
So What Can We Tell You ?
We have started contacting people who may wish to exhibit their trees.
We have already been contacted by people who have exhibition trees.
Kevin Willson will be demonstrating on superb yew yamadori material.
We have information about the show on the Fobbs website.
Our website is being updated monthly to report progress.
Mark and Ritta known throughout the bonsai world will be selecting trees.
We have agreed 10th June as the final date for receiving pictures of display trees.
We have 5 traders booked, and would recommend early booking for space.
We continue to work towards presenting for you a
Truly Memorable Bonsai Show in Wales in 2012.

December Update
It has been a long time since we first announced that there would be a Major Bonsai Show to be held at Tredegar House in South Wales in 2012, and a lot longer than that since we started planning this event. We are aware that since the Best of British there has been a lot of speculation about the Welsh Show and it is now our intention to update you regularly. However, rest assured we have not been wasting our time.
We have been listening to a lot of people, and we will continue to listen. We see this communication as the first of many we intend to produce, and to post on our Website of progress we are making towards delivery of a Truly Memorable Bonsai Show in Wales in 2012. We hope you will find our regular updates informative and useful.
So What Can We Tell You ?
We have confirmed the venue and date for the Show.
We have started the process of contacting Traders to Trade at the Show.
We have confirmed the appearance of an Internationally-renowned Bonsai Artist to demonstrate over the weekend.
We have confirmed Local Bonsai talent to demonstrate over the weekend.
We have started the process of inviting Selectors to search for over 60 of the very Best Trees the country has to offer.
We continue to engage people inside and outside of the Bonsai fraternity with the aim of presenting for you a Truly Memorable Bonsai Show in Wales in 2012.
